Clinicians
ProcedureOverview
Clinicians are providers who appear on schedules and may author clinical documentation. A clinician profile is often linked to a user account.
Before you start
- You have administration permission
- You know the clinician’s display name and credentials to show in FICE
- Scheduling services and availability owners are identified
Steps
1. Open Clinicians
Go to Administration → Clinicians (or the equivalent configuration area).

2. Add or edit a clinician
- Select New Clinician or open an existing profile.
- Enter display name and required profile fields.
- Link the related user account if applicable.
- Save.

3. Configure availability
After the clinician exists, set availability so appointments can be booked. See Availability.
