Frequently Asked Questions
General
What is the FICE Help Center?
It is the public documentation site for FICE Medical. It explains how to use the product and does not connect to your clinic data.
Does this site show patient information?
No. The Help Center never accesses PHI, client records, or your FICE database.
Where do I open the FICE application?
- Clinic: Open FICE clinic
- Client portal: Open FICE portal
Your clinic may also give you a different URL.
Access and login
I cannot sign in. What should I do?
- Confirm you are using the correct application URL.
- Check your email/username spelling.
- Use the password reset option if available.
- Contact your clinic administrator if access is still blocked.
See First Login.
Why is a menu item missing?
Your role may not include that permission. Ask an administrator to review Roles and Permissions.
Scheduling
Why are no appointment slots available?

- Clinician availability is not configured
- Service duration does not fit available blocks
- Filters exclude the clinician or location
See Availability and Schedule an Appointment.
Clinical documentation
What is the difference between an encounter and a clinical note?
An encounter is the visit/event. A clinical note documents what happened during that encounter.
See Encounters and Clinical Notes.
Can I edit a signed note?
Usually you add an Addendum according to clinic policy.
Search
How do I search the Help Center?

Still need help?
Contact your clinic administrator or internal FICE support channel. Do not send PHI through unsecured email.
