Use this checklist to become productive in FICE without formal classroom training. Complete the steps in order when possible.
Before you start
- You can sign in successfully
- You know which role you were assigned (front desk, clinician, admin, etc.)
- Your administrator confirmed which modules you should use
Steps
1. Sign in and explore the Dashboard
Follow First Login, then review Dashboard.
2. Learn the navigation
Open each module you can access and note where Clients, Appointments, and Clinical areas live. See Navigation.
3. Create or open a practice client (sandbox only)
If your clinic provides a training environment, create a fictional client such as Jordan Lee.

WARNING
Never use real patient identifiers in training screenshots or shared notes outside approved systems.
4. Schedule a test appointment
Schedule an appointment for your practice client. See Schedule an Appointment.
5. Review clinical documentation flow
If you are a clinician, open an encounter and review how notes and signatures work:
